David Draime's first place portfolio award recognition

I just want to express congratulations to David Draime who won first place in the portfolio competition at the PSOA conference here in Philadelphia. It was spectacular; a beautiful presentation of his unparalleled fine pastel portraits. While I thought there were over twenty strong contenders, I predicted he would win, and he did not believe me. David is rather modest and self effacing regarding his tremendous talent. There were four names singled out and David's was first, and not in alphabetical order. Well deserved, David! I hope this catapults you on to additional recognitions.

Yes, I agree with Garth. David, your portfolio was outstanding. Congratulations also to you, Garth, and to Ellen Cooper, and one other winner whose name I did not catch. Did anyone hear it?

Aapo was the fourth mentioned. He has consistently strong portfolios, having been number one last year.

Ellen Cooper's is spectacular too!

Michele, you have been so helpful to me lately. I hope your prediction is as true as Garth's. And with the advice of such supportive and talented friends and peers, I know I am on the right track.
