Introducing myself
Hi portrait artists. I live and work in Gainesville, Florida. I'm a 3rd generation native of Lake County Florida (Leesburg.) Until I married Bob last month, I lived in the house where my father was born in 1919, on our ancestral land. I love Gainesville - a university city with a truly intellectual atmosphere.
Here's a brief bio:I've been painting portraits by commission in oils, pastel and mixed media for 40 years. I paint my subjects from both observation and photos which I take at the initial sitting. I also paint the landscape out of doors. I work in pastel, charcoal, ink, oil canvas and experimental mediums. I
