It's a great composition, very dynamic! I like her expression, too. You've handled the limited palette so well, but I have one minor critique: the grey shirt pops right out at me because it doesn't relate (in terms of color and light) to the rest of the painting. I would expect the light area of the shirt to have slightly more warmth in it, and the halftones and shadows to have more color and depth--more like the shoulder strap in the shadow. Maybe if the shadow at the bottom was closer to that color? Just a thought.
