Hugging Sisters drawing

These sisters are their mom's joy. Their 8x10 pencil portrait was commissioned by a friend of the mom as a surprise for her. I arranged the girls so they appeared to be hugging, which really was not the case in their reference photo which you can see below. I drew them with a Blackwing pencil which is 4B on Canson pure-white paper.

Really well done. I appreciate your sharing your works. I keep hoping if others share their work it will bring some activity back to the Forum.

Cynthia, thank you.

As for posts, if you don't mind me hogging the forum I'll keep on posting. In fact I hold back since I create a portrait a day (up to three/day this time of year), I don't even post all that I could. Nevertheless maybe more artists will look in, and maybe they themselves will want to post more. And they should. Your forum gets great coverage across the web.

Excellent work, Mike. I look forward to seeing more. Interesting the way you switched the girls' arms.
