I have just ordered the epson 1800 to make prints with.

Can anyone suggest a nice paper to use for art prints?

Mary,

At times, I've done presentations for a portrait commission and used HP's glossy flyer and brochure paper. I like it because portraits look good on it , plus I can print text pages - all on the same paper. At first I was going to use photo paper, but my presentation was all one thing and I wanted the paper to all be the same.

Paper

Hi Mary,

It's always fun to have something coming in the mail! I ordered the Epson R300 a few weeks ago and have been very pleased with it. I did a lot of experimenting with paper, my goal was to print my own notecards. I even went to a large paper house/distributor here in Houston and they let me take home about 30 samples. After using half my ink on those samples, I ended up ordering Epson paper from their website (I also can find it at our local Office Depot). I also use some paper from Costco that was recommended to me here on the forum. All the paper I'm using is the premium glossy paper.

Good luck!

Joan
