This is 14" x 18" on Arches 300lb. watercolor paper.

That's lovely, Brenda! Since I'm not a watercolorist I'm probably not qualified to critique, but the only thing that stands out is that the shadows in the skin are too purple, especially above the eye on our right. You might try adding some yellow to that shadow, and maybe to other shadows on her skin.

She has such an appealing face and I think you have captured so much personality and life in this watercolor!

Thanks, Alex. Yes, you're right. I'll put a yellow/orange wash over it. I also need to adjust the shadown shape where light meets shadow near her right eye.
(I also forgot to peel off a couple of spots of frisket in the hair!)
