question Media question

If I create a pastel portrait on gessoed hardboard, underpainted in an acrylic wash, what media, exactly do I claim is the media used? I would like to say pastel on panel as this is the dominant product used, but not the only product used.

How does one decide what exactly is the media to be listed on the completed work?
