Josef,
Excellent job. Haven't seen much of your work lately, unless I've been sleeping, but glad to see you again. The first thing that strikes me is the size of her right eye, but I like it. Then it leads me to the left eye, which seems a bit off, not that it bothers me, but just makes me wonder. Overall, excellent, hope to see more.

Josef,
This is far and away your very best work to date (of course, of those I've seen..)
You should be so thrilled, and rightly so.

Josef,
Where have you been? Busy, I guess, drawing because this is really beautiful. Her expression, and the way she is holding her head, reaches out and grabs a hold of the viewer. The rendering of the hair is VERY good.
Hope to see you post more!!!
Pat

Thanks everyone. I really had fun doing the hair. I have been occupied with the little one. I try to sneak 15-30 minutes of work time here and there. I finally got to finish this piece the other night when my daughter went to bed earlier. It was a really quick sketch study for the longest time for an oil piece I am doing.
Jim, you are right on the right eye. It seems a bit off. I'll try to correct it since I did not put the fixative yet.
I should be more present after April since I will be taking 3 months off for parental leave from work. Cannot wait

If that's just a quick sketch, then it's better than I thought. Congratulations on having a daughter, first child?
Looking foward to seeing what you do during your leave, if your daughter lets you!
