Portrait of Jack

This portrait is completed and delivered, so I really can't change anything. Just would like the pros' comments so I can improve the next one.

Thanks.

Color is nice, just a few areas where the form could improve.

You would benefit by a little more drawing practice on the eyes, especially regarding the fold of skin over the eyes, and the lines composing them. The viewer's left iris is noticeably smaller than the other. The modeling of the nose could be better, especially in the viewer's left nostril. The viewers left arm seems to be a bit out of proportion, and does not explain itself well enough. Perhaps the upper arm is a bit short. The viewer's left knee appears to be out of form. The color there may be skewed on the digital image causing the kneecap to apear mis-shaped or dented.

The overall portrait has a very nice feeling.

Nice work!

Thanks for your comments, Lon. I do need more practice in drawing. I tighten up when it comes to the eyes.

Thanks.
