"Best of Both Worlds": In this three-day workshop, painting from the live model marries painting from the photograph… how to make completed portraits as fresh as if the artist painted them from life.
This workshop is designed especially for students who would like to bring a painting to completion, but desire more time than a typical open studio session and need the tools to do so without the model present. Students will learn how to observe, analyze and understand the painting of skin tones; how to pose, light, and photograph their model so that they can get excellent resource materials.
