Student Paintings at SVA

I wanted to share some of the student work from my recently completed Spring semester Continuing Education classes at the School of Visual Arts in NYC. The semester was 12 sessions, broken down into two poses of six weeks each. I am very fortunate to be blessed with such talented students.

For those who are interested, this summer I'll be out and about, leading both portrait painting as well as portrait drawing workshops in Atlanta and at SVA in NYC this summer. I'll be at the Andreeva Academy for a two week portrait painting workshop in June. You can check my website http://www.fineartportrait.com/ for all the gory details.

The first three paintings below are by Julia Gavrilova (in chronological order, from top to bottom) and the fourth is by Justine Whittaker. This is Justine's first semester in my class and her first oil painting.

More paintings

The first two are by Martin Wittfooth. The top painting is his latest. The third painting down is by Joe Cooper and the fourth is by Ryan Santos.

More still!

The first is by Nicole Mone, the second is by Steven Morrell, also in his first class with me, and the third one is by Matt Innis.

I'm so proud of all their great progress this semester.
