Gene, this is a great portrait on many levels. One level that moves me is that, and I am assuming here, these people are apprehensive, fearful and not certain of there destiny. These characteristics are not usually ascribed to people who have their portrait painted. I like creating art for people who would otherwise never be in a position to commission it.
