Sorolla-Sargent Show

For those who are Sorolla/Sargent fans (and I know you are legion), there will be, starting tomorrow, the 3rd, a show featuring both these artists side by side in the Museo Thyssen here in Madrid. Definitely a must for those who can (those who are nearby or those who are far away but willing and able). You can read more information on:
www.museothyssen.org

Carlos, I so wish I could be there. I do plan, God willing, to come to Madrid this coming summer. It would be nice if we could get together. The people, the country side and the Prado. I hope to see some of Fortuny's charcoals like the "Man on the cross". I've been looking for a boocklet of some of his charcoal drawings.
