A superb and deft portrayal of form-defining light. This is the best of the artistic expression -- one that does not interrupt the viewer with the "art" or the execution, but makes us immediately encounter the subject. That is the most revealing and respectful practice of this art. Those of us who engage in the practice can later pull back and make the closer examination as to how the artist actually accomplished this.

I might otherwise remark on a couple of small areas of overmodeling, but the overall effect is of a very bright light source, so the objection is overruled for the most part
