That's a good one! I could always try.

Thanks Alicia, the noises you hear are not my prices, it's my head banging against the wall.

kathryn in person

Jimmie visited me yesterday and shared his pristine original kathryn for me to see. While this looks absolutely stunning online, I must say I was disapointed. It's just that it was such a shame Jimmie would not let me keep her to shine down from my studio walls! If there was ever an argument to support seeing original art in galleries and museums, kathryn is a great example. She is worth every one of the hundred thousand pennies she was awarded! And more! There is nothing better than viewing the original. I consider myself very fortunate despite my disapointment.

Jimmie, it was great to meet you! You and kathryn can visit anytime.

Garth

thumbs up Congratulations!!!

I've been away from the art scene for a while, since I'm back to the restoration work on my old house.

But this morning I happened to go to the Art Renewal site, and browsed the salon winners. My heart nearly stopped when I saw your piece.

I couldn't help thinking "that sure raises the value of my art collection". (juuust kidding)

I'll bet those galleries are begging for your work now!

BTW: Garth, I get to see one of Jimmie's originals several times a day. It's hanging in my bedroom.

Congratulations! Felicidades!

Jimmie,

Congratulations, I've been away for quite awhile and took this am from work to finally get back to the Forum and saw that you have won on ARC...Felicidades, I looked at their site and saw your exquisite drawings, I also loved your "Angelina" that won finalist.

I agree, and it's great to see all of your hard work finally paying off.
Continued success Magdalena

Hey Garth, if you wanted to keep it, all you had to do was ask!!! I would have said no, but you could have asked. (or offer me half)

Jeff, great to hear from you. I'm glad you're still enjoying 'hacel'. The real Hacel looks different now.

Magdalena, thank you so much, very nice thoughts.

I forgot to add that I received my copies of "How Did You Paint That?" It came out really nice. I think Ardith is in there also.
