Hello from the UK
Just wanted to introduce myself to this forum as I`m new here. I`m just a guy from the United Kingdom, an artist for a few years now, and really enjoying the great art in this forum. I`m going to browse this forum for a while yet, lots to learn and enjoy viewing. Well that`s about it for now.

Welcome, Chris. Great to have someone from across the ocean! There's much to learn here, so make yourself at home. If you have a scanned image of a portrait to post here, I know other members would be interested.

Hi Cynthia, thanks for the welcome. Sorry but I didn`t realise you would be interested in seeing something straightaway.
Apologies for the poor photo of the painting which is in Oil, on Canvas Board, and 24" x 20" in size. The second is a standard Graphite on Cartridge Paper sketch. The painting is still not quite finished.
