Sharon, I love the elegance and attitude in this piece. The teal and magenta combination is unexpected - you say "sophisticated", I say, "va-voom." [You say 'tomato, I say 'tomahto'...] Congratulations on another successful pastel!

I, too , would love to see the rest of this.

Wow Sharon. I could just imagine how incredible the rest of it must be. Once again, I love that light patch directly under the rose. Beautiful style. I have a small set (all I could afford ) of Giraults on it's way, you've inspired me.

Jimmie,

All I started with was a $300 set of Senneliers, all I could afford, that was 5 years ago.

Linda,

I appreciate your support, thanks. The colors come right off that exquisite tapestry I bought.

OK Sharon, when would be the best time for me to come stay a while? Just give me time to arrange a sitter and I will be there. You are the one that got me on this pastel path, so now you will help me finish.( Just kidding.) This is absolutely beautiful, I like her better than the first if that is possible. Would you email the whole image to me?
She reminds me of Sargent's "Lady Agnew".

Sharon,

This is a very elegant piece. I love that confident expression she has and the lighting just seems perfect. I too would love to see the rest of this.
