Thanks for the tip. This is where I've been headed with all this glazing, I think. Truly glazing is quite a job. One has to plan far ahead, or so it seems to me. But holding back on some of the darks, and then putting in the final dark with a transparent paint/glaze seems to add just enough of an additional dimension. I'll try your orange. Thanks.
