Thank you Beth and Sharon,

Sharon, good memory and thank you. I think I've grown a bit more comfortable while working. Charcoals still make me nervous and the thought of doing pastels again also. I have a couple of pieces planned, but I do pastels in the attic which is freezing during the winter and I can't get comfortable. I bought a heater, but I'm still up there with a light jacket and uncomfortable, so I'm concentrating on my drawings. Hopefully in the next couple of months I'll be up there again. Thanks.

Sorry to dig this thread up. This is too gorgeous, It has so much life, so much emotion.....I just couldn't resist

Jimmie, I must tell you, THIS drawing is my all time favourite of yours! Honestly, this is one of the BEST drawings I've seen in my life and I'd seen heaps, mind you. I have 2 favourite graphite artists, one is my mentor Armin Mersmann, the other one is you!

The drawing itself is a wonderful work of art and it speaks volumes! In my opinion, your work is even more beautiful than a finished painting. Well, this is how I feel, I don't know what else to say...

Kudos

Isabel,

I agree 100%

I get to see the original several times a day. It's a gem.

Isabel, I can't thank you enough for such nice comments. You make me want to start drawing again, the pastels have been taking up so much of my time. I'm taking a figure drawing class Monday nights to avoid getting rusty. It's also an honor to be considered one of your favorite artists, Armin does incredible work! Thanks again.

Jeff, you sound like a proud dad. I finally started hanging up my own work recently, most are sitting in shelves. I still have'nt seen a pic of 'Hacel' with a frame on her, I'd love to only if it's no trouble. Thanks.

Here ya go

When you first asked for this, I had a really cheap digital camera, and now I have a "modestly priced" camera, that does a better job.

The pic hangs in my bedroom, where I walk past it several times per day.

Thanks again!

Jeff
