Snake charmer




I think this was the second or third portrait I ever tried in pastels 12x16. Thanks for looking.

Interesting

I am wondering if you have considered adding anything to the background. I think adding a background would help to define the turban and boost the compostion as well. Perhaps you might want to try a sky blue or maybe even go dark. I've included your picture with my suggested revision.

Thanks Joseph, the background is actually blue, but not as dark as yours, its not showing up very well in the photo. I'll see if i can post a better photo when I get time.
