Portrait of Madalena

Hi all:

I just finished a portrait of a little friend to offer her mother.

It is oil on canvas, and I would like to have your opinion and critic in order to improve my portraits.

Thank you very much!
Rui.

Very nice, but for your next portrait I know you will see a great improvement in your work if you can review some of the suggestions in the reference photo threads first (no flash, single light source from off to the side, etc.)

Hi, Michele :

I did read the threads you mentioned and you are right about the photo quality, but the mother insisted so much on this one...

Some weeks ago, I made a promise to work only from good photo references. Now I think I need to do that promise again!

Thanks for your time.

Rui
