This is a shameless bid for attention and I'm sure it's from desperation, but what the heck. When I posted the source photo in the critique section, it was suggested that the shoes and position of the legs would be extrememly difficult and would not explain themselves. One of the few things I am satisfied with in this painting is the shoes. Here is a close up. The scan was too dark so I lightened and exaggerated the contrast. The actual painting is better I promise.
