This is done from my mother's 1948 H.S. Grad picture. She loved it for Christmas. I've been trying to get oil paint results, from pastels. After seeing work by Jane Lund, I was inspired. I schooled in oil painting in H.S. myself but that was along time ago. I would like to begin again, but need guidance on: What material to buy first, and any good instructional materials that can be obtained inexpensively. Perhaps this is fodder for a new topic?
