Very nice. I really like the drapery. You really did a great job! If you have some drawings of Bouguereau's, you might want to copy them, too. They are excellent exercise.

Thank you

Hello, Josef, thank you for your comments. I just visited your website. Is Bouguereau your favourite artist?

Pong, I worship the man. He is my favorite artist aside from Van Dyck and Michelangelo. His colors and tones in his paintings are just incredible. If you have a chance to be face to face with one of his paintings, I am sure your jaw will drop. Mine does every time. I am very lucky to have a Bouguereau here in the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. Also, there is an excellent study of a girl's head in Toronto, Ontario. (A six-hour drive.)

I just discovered another Bouguereau site here in the Forum last night. It is very complete. You can find drawings, paintings, and oil sketches. Check it out.

Josef, can you give me an idea which site you're referring to, or which thread you found it in? I'd like to add the link here.

Thanks.

Steven, I got the site from the category "Artists of the Past" and it was posted by Steven Rosati.
