I was just browsing older posts, and I realized I hadn't seen this one before. Apparently no one else has, either.

This is a lovely use of a minimal palette. It's almost monochromatic. There's an ongoing project at WetCanvas, employing Zorn's minimal palette. He supposedly used black, golden ocre, vermilion red, and white.

I saw this when you posted it before and, as then, I'm especially struck by the eyes and the beautiful way you've made them come alive. I also love the modeling around them, and the way you've shown the depth. The rest of her isn't too shabby either. Very impressive.
