Thank you very much! As far as the hair goes, I was actually thinking the same thing, but I wanted to see if someone brought it up. It's not as strong a contrast on the original and the paper is darker than you may see it. While I was putting the highlights in, the one's on the face were too strong so I toned them down. The highlights on her hair seemed strong on paper, but accurate from reference as the source of light was less than five feet away from her head. I agree with using licence, and plan on toning down the highlights without the reference.

Thank you again. The quote makes a lot of sense, and I usually use that approach without thinking about it. I had a class in college where one teacher, Mr. Klutz, would stress stronger lines near and fainter lines far.

Hope to start the class/group sooner than later!
