- I was born in 1949 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina to a career Marine and traveled extensively over the United States until my father died in 1965. I joined the Marine Corps and sought to be a combat artist in Vietnam, but ended up in "ART"-tillery fire control! My profession is doing AutoCAD drafting for Bridges and Civil projects. I have worked professionally as a sign designer for 8 years and 20 years in retail display.
