Portrait on porcelain

A portrait painted on a porcelain plaque. I took a picture of each step before I fired it. This gives you an idea of how portraits painted on porcelain differ from painting portraits on canvas.

That is awesome! Great work!

Just a short while ago when I was in Florence, Italy, I good friend offered the use of a complete studio with a nice size kiln few wheels and shelving and extras. She and her husband thought for me to use and hold workshops if I liked. I was at the art academy full time. So, I really did not have much time.

Thank you for sharing your masterwork with us. It is quite lovely.
