Good luck in New York, Alex !

Your landscapes are wonderful, they show that you look for the personality of the motif, the individuality.

That's what I look for, Allan, so I'm glad to know it comes through in the paintings. Thank you!

I wish I could be there, too, Alex! Your landscapes are incredible. (How do you manage to produce so many terrific paintings... !) I wish you many sales and a great turnout at the gallery.

Thanks, Linda and Thomasin! With the economy the way it is, who knows about sales, but I'm hoping for the best. Wish you two could be there.

Three to Watch

I wanted to let you all know that my landscapes, and this show, are mentioned in the Jan-Feb issue of Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine. The artlcle is:

"Three to Watch: Artists Making Their Mark" on pp. 33-35. (I'm on p.34.)

The text is by SOG Forum member Nancy Bea Miller, who is also a fine writer!

Well, that can be a problem, Julie! I have never been able to find one at our local Borders, but I think I have seen it at Barnes and Noble. Every area is different, though.

I went to their site to see if I could find a link to the article online, but the new issue is not up yet. As soon as it is, I'll post a link.

Thank you, Patty!

BTW, Barnes and Noble definitely carries Fine Art Connoisseur magazine. I'll let you know as soon as the Jan.Feb issue is out.
