Carlos, finishing the portrait of the three boys I posted here before these two gave me strength. Some times convincing a client is a matter of how confident one is, it takes a firm smile.
For me is quite a rare achievement; I am currently working on the typical "commission from hell " project: everything you should avoid, demanding, bossy and always unavailable client who thinks he knows about painting and a terrible reference photo. He bullied me into saying yes.

Thomasin, thank you for your suggestion. I will try and experiment with dynamic lines in my still lifes and see how it works. The concept is very interesting, although I would have to find a way of combining it with this idea of flatness and drawing which is superimposed on painting, and find a role for this type of line in the economy of the work.
