Thanks

Thanks to all of you. I am excited to learn more from you all and develop some relationships. So, I see that there is another 26 year old on here. We young girls need to help each other grow.

Ha ha, the main reason that I haven't spent much time on there before is because I am afraid that it will be addicting. I just quit my part time job a couple months ago and am painting full-time, and I find that everything and everybody thinks that since I work for myself that I can take off work when ever I want and go play. It can be hard to not let the wieght of bills, friends, networking, and business keep us away from what we enjoy the most and what is our real work: painting everyday.

Hi Molly, welcome.

Went to your site, like your work very much. The portrait of the boy with the hat, Isaac(?) looks a little bit like me when I was a little kid, but that was over 26 years ago.

Molly, I was 26 yesterday, and all of a sudden today I'm 38,I still can't figure how it happened!
And you are right, it is addicting over here, but a bit of browsing will just put you in the mood for painting...

Welcome Molly,
I hate to tell you how many years ago I was 26...so I won't. From what I hear you are just as lovely on the inside as you are on the outside. That is a winning combination. Keep painting AND marketing. You have talent and will do well. i wish you every success.

Molly - your work is stunning; so nice to have you here.
Good for you to be able to take the plunge at 26 into full time painting by giving up your day job. I'm still hanging on to that security blanket!

Heidi, I looked at your website, and, wow, I love it! Your bronze sculptures are great.

Welcome, Molly! We hope to hear from you often here on the Forum.

I found the same thing when I started painting full time. Just keep saying "no thanks" and they'll soon get the idea that you're really "working".

Hey, Michele, since I am new to this forum, what does FT professional mean in your title above your picture?

Hi Molly and Welcome,

You're in very good company with Bill!
I've just browsed your website and I simply adored those lovely kids.
I have lots of friends in Utah, maybe some day I'll go skiing nearby.
