I just love this little gem! The colors evoke a traditional italian fresco palette; I bet you intended that association.

Thank you Terri. I used a very limited palette and tried to keep skin colours on the cool side.

Thank you Garth, long time no see, I hope you are doing well.
I did indeed thought about frescos, somehow more to the nineteenth century ones rather than Renaissance.
Again this was a divertissment, I am glad you enjoyed.

How really beautiful, Ilaria.

It is an appealing face in a really original design.

Loved Latin, loved French! I tutored Latin but now all I can remember is "Omnia Gallia est divisa in tres partes", and that probably is wrong.

I think this a wonderful piece to have of one's child. You can gaze upon it fondly when he becomes a teenager.

Loved the ancestor painting too.
