Thanks, Linda.
It meant that I can legitimately continue to give myself "business" status this year with the IRS. As I understand it, 3 out of 5 years have to show a profit. This is year no. 3 for me. The first two, especially year no. 1, were in the hole due to buying all the necessary supplies.

Actually, the Christmas show was early November, so there was a little more time than that. But it still was a crazy time.

Just barely, just barely....
My New Year's resolution is not to let the house get into the state it got into the last few months. Ever heard of a website for Messies Anonymous? I'm on their email list now for daily inspiration!

Julie,
That is awesome! I am so imrpessed. Dont worry about the tumbleweeds, they are rolling on my floors also but my excuse is not as productive as yours it!
I especially like the last profile of the boy - very sweet and very well done.
Business in Cleveland sucks. You should see the portrait which was painted of our outgoing mayor, the first woman mayor of cleveland's history. Some friends father painted it in acrylics - so sad, so very sad...
You just keep it up, you're going places, my friend!
Pat

Thanks, Pat! Does "going around the bend" count?
