Most people are distracted for months and months after a move. Im a professional though. I've moved 18 times in 17 years because of my husband's job. I can have a 3000 square foot house set up in under 2 weeks. It's an acquired skill, but I dont recommend the training. We are staying put though. We've bought, and there will be no more moves. I'm going to dig my grave in the backyard next week...just to make sure it is clear I am staying for the long haul.

I truly feel for you, Kim. I'm no pro and I hate the physical aspects of moving. My body doesn't handle it well. But......I'm putting down big roots here too. I've landed in "God's country" and the move was well worth it this time!

I'm glad you are going to stay in one place now, this should help your work and mental outlook (stability) so much!
