Roman Emperor Bust

This section looks pretty lonely so I think I'll add this topic here.

This is a bust I started last October, but wasn't too crazy about it so I never finished it. This weekend I pulled it down off the shelf and decided to go ahead and finish it and will mold and cast it. The model is a co-worker who was kind enough to sit for me, and I promised him a plaster casting, so I'd better get to it.

It's 80% life size, modeled in plasteline clay. Originally started out as just an experiment doing some drapery, but it did end up looking just like him.

Thanks so much! Everyone at work got a good hoot out of seeing Jerry as an emperor and say they'll have to treat him with more respect from now on!

Thanks Patricia and Karine!
Here's how the first test cast came out in plaster. This is the copy I'll give to my friend who modeled for it.
