Hi Kim,

You have so many graceful lines in the figure, her arms, hands and legs. Even the profile of her head has grace. The bishop sleeve drapery didn't have the beautiful line quality that a very simple tie back has. Mike's manipulation pulls it all together. I can't wait to see how you change this.

I do not know if it is done, but this is what I did before the school called to pick up one sick child. It's a bit lighter than the painting and a bit blurry.

Actually, the harsh shapes on the neck bother me more than anything to do with the drapes. Even if those forms "were really there in the photo", I beleive it would be a better painting if those dramatically lighted muscles and tendons were played down.
