Dear Ryoko

Your work is lovely. I have already had the opportunity to admire it in the Artist's Magazine. Congratulations on all your awards and recognition. You are off to a very good start. It's very nice to have you here.

Hi Ryoko,

Welcome to the forum, I'm new myself. I taught undergraduate painting at the Academy of Art in SF for twelve years, so we probably know a lot of the same people. The northern California members of the Portrait Society of America (PSA) are going to start painting from the model together once a month in the 60 Federal Building at the Academy. We'll start on Sunday, Sept 16th. Let me know if you want to join us and I'll send you the information.

Also Chris Saper, the fabulous portrait painter, teacher and forum moderator will be coming to give a demo and workshop at the Academy on November 2 & 3. She's really great, so you should join us for that!

Your work is lovely and your resume is impressive.
