Thanks for your input! I took it into photoshop and tried many ways to crop it and still couldn't find a way I liked better - but I couldn't say why.

- Thank you for verbalizing a reason for why my painting may be better square. - and thanks for your kind words!! I do like squares lately and I am not sure why, but several of my paintings have ended up that way.
