HI Holly!

This is a nice study and other than what you were already mentioning there is one spot that is really bugging me. Look at Andy's left side, our right side, of his forehead, it's not turning back with the rest of his head. It looks as if that poor little boys head is flat. It is almost the same value all the way across from above his left brow to where it should be turning and going around to the back of his head. If you get the forehead turning then maybe that will help resolve the rest of your painting. Remember, the area that is bothering you, may not be the problem at all. Put your hand over his forehead and then remove it. See the difference? Now look at the hair on that side to his ear too! If you just cover that area, there it is again. It is flat and not turning. It seems to be just value issues. A few tweaks here and there and you'll have it. Over all it is a very good solid piece and the drawing is well done!
