Wertheimer portraits

Chantal,

Thank you again for posting your work. This copy looks very much like the original I remember seeing at the Corcoran. That exhibit a few summers ago really inspired me to pursue this career I am just getting into. I had always sought out Sargents in every museum I visited but this group of portraits in particular were some of my favorites. I also bought the exhibit catalog and have enjoyed referring back to it -- although it is small.

Your Rembrandt copy was very nice also -- and painting on location in the Met must really be an experience. I am going to check into our state art museum to see if they have this program in place because I would like to do this with the Bouguereau (Young Girl and Eros) which is there.

No photograph can compare with the real thing can it?

Again, your work is a pleasure to view.
