Can this tube be saved?

I have a new tube of Winsor & Newton cobalt blue oil paint that has a small puncture in the middle of it. Has anyone had any luck plugging a hole with tape or glue or something so the whole tube doesn't dry out? Did I mention it's cobalt blue?
