Rose gray




I was passing time with a very good local portrait artist at his studio over the weekend. During my visit he pulled out a tube of what he said was a new color: Holbein's Rose Gray.

I'm no paint officianato, but this looked like a very nice flesh tone to me. Even the name is intriguing. He squirted a bit out on his glass palette and began to tint it to the cool and then to the warm. It looked very nice, I think I may need to get a tube.
