Uncle Herman

Hi

This is a pastel portrait study I made yesterday from picture. This man is my uncle; my mother's brother. I used Rembrandt and Schminke soft pastels.
Dimensions are +/- 40x30 cm
It's done on an old music sheet wich I first painted or toned with some pastel layers.

I managed to paint the hair with some vibrant green and blue, but I wonder what kind of colors I can use to flourish the face.
Any advice or suggestions?

Best regards
Kris
