Well, I'm with the mother. I think you got the likeness. But, did you get the gesture and expression of the photo you took? I'm not sure... They're quite different.
I wasn't sure about these resourse photos you took, because they're out of context - the dancer out of the studio or stage. So, to me, they seemed a little out of place. But the girl is so lovely, and has such bearing.
Maybe you might want to give this pose another shot, even on the porch, because her demeanor is so striking.
