This is the first time my daughter posed for me without coaxing. Having a father who paints portraits is certainly no big deal for my children, they are often victims of an artist looking for someone to paint.

She liked this portrait so I thought I would share it with everyone here. This is an unusual approach for me to use such a warm background, my backgrounds are often cool in color. I was experimenting a little, trying different concepts.

I apologize for the slight glare in the upper left hand corner. The size of this oil portrait is 16 X 20 inches.
