Thank you for the quick responses. I do notice, now, what you guys have pointed out. And, I agree.

I have a small set of Rembrandts that I use along with NuPastels. I have a set of Sennelier that I rarely use. Too soft for my liking.

The little girl on the left is from a previous posting. She's in a lot of my work. Inspiration is hard for me to find. But, I always find it in her.

As for drawing from life, I would love to. I know I could never draw my daughter because she doesn't stand still long enough for a photo, let alone a painting. But, I have recently started a figure drawing class that meets once a week. That'll be alot of great practice for me. Also, I've been thinking of doing a portrait of my wife from life. So, maybe you'll see that in the future.
