In expatriate residence and driving on the wrong side of the road in Sydney, Australia, in 1995, Steven Sweeney quickly developed an interest in British traffic patterns and in Australian impressionist landscapes from the late 19th Century. Inspired to try his own hand at oil painting, and in possession of a valid but pointless Aussie driver
