Pastels, Highlights and Fair Skin?
Hi,
I have finally ventured away from the oils, mainly to stay away from the toxic stuff while pregnant and am trying my hand at pastels. (It is a girl btw, FINALLY after two boys.) I am having SO much fun and can't believe I never tried these before, this group has been such an inspiration!
At any rate, I am having a hard time getting glowing highlights and reflections in the skintones of fair skin. Whites are making them look chalky, and nothing else seems to make them POP, like I know they should.
This medium is so new to me Im getting discouraged by this. Can anyone help out here?
