Dante Gabriel Rossetti master copy

Hello folks!
I have learned alot over the years, through trial and error, and even now that I am all grown up, I am still learning! I thought I would post this copy of Rossetti's work that I did a few years back, and which remains my favorite to this day. Very simple head study, but very dynamic, to me...I am a big fan of Rossetti, his paintings are beautiful! Maybe I should pick one of his paintings to copy and learn from next! Anyhoo...here is my 2 cents worth!

cheers all!

Go for it! You definitely will learn the most from those works that you like the best.

Can you post the original you copied from? I don't recognize this particular head.

that is a good question as to where the original picture is that I copied this from! I did it for an art class, and I took the picture out of my Art History book. I will have to go home and delve into my books for it. I do have a scan of the Rossetti picture that I used, I will have to retrieve that from home. I had blown up the photo so I could see better detail. I will post it as soon as I can find it! :-) I think it is a sketch of Elizabeth Siddal, his wife.
