Geisha
Hi Guys
This is the latest piece I just submitted to the American Art in Miniature Show at the Thomas Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa, OK.
I just loved the softness of this pose... it's a less formal portrait but still speaks volumes to me.
Enjoy!

Tony,
It's a beautiful painting and should be a winner. I like how you economize with the painting means - less is more.

Yikes Tony,
This is so stunning, and a tremendous little jewel. You continue to bedazzle us with some of the most original refreshing and masterful passages of paint to be seen anywhere. Big congratulations on this very auspicious show! I too wish you the best, and would love to see this.

Tony,
Congratulations on getting into the miniature show! This is a deceptively simple piece. I'm admiring the transparancy of the shadows, the suggestion of volume and air, and all those other things that are balanced and considered so well. But what really makes it a winner is the zing of the red lips and the green slash on the upper right.
